What is biological control?
Biological control is the use of living organisms to prevent or reduce damage caused by pests.

Biological control entails reducing the negative impact of a damage-causing pest by getting its natural enemies to eliminate it. Adopting biological control against pest insects to protect crops and gardens is one of the best available strategies to help the environment and encourage biodiversity.

Anatis Bioprotection’s products thus provide farmers and gardeners with a viable alternative to chemical pesticides.  Our products are strictly based on widely and naturally occurring beneficial insects; they are 100 % organic and highly effective against pests.

Founded in 2005, the company has succeeded in honing a specific expertise in developing and producing biological agents for sustainable farming, reducing harmful pesticide residues and contributing to a safer environment.
Anatis Bioprotection owns and operates research, development and production facilities at its premises, a 4.2 acre (1.7 ha) farm in the greater Montreal region (St-Jacques-le-Mineur, Monteregie).
