Trichogramma are microscopic parasitoids (0.3–1 mm) of butterfly and moth eggs. The parasitized butterfly or moth eggs die therefore preventing plant damages from pest caterpillars.

Storage and conservation:

Store in a refrigerated area between 4°C and 12°C. Use as soon as possible and before the expiration date indicated on the product.

Handling

Hold the card by the edge to protect the eggs.

The trichogramma are a natural solution against the eggs of borers, armyworms, cutworms, cabbageworms, loppers, leafrollers, leaftiers.

Instructions

-Use during the plant growing season when ambient temperature is higher than 15°C.
-Each card can cover an area of 200 m2 (2,153 pi2), 50 cards/ha, 20 cards/acre
-Using the hook, fix the card on a vegetable plant at about 15 centimeters (6 inches) above ground surface.
-Apply a new card every 10 days to control pest caterpillars.
